If you’re looking for tough, food-grade grease with no melting point, INOX MX6 will be your best friend. This grease is a synthetic PAO base extreme pressure grease. It uses organic clay thickener, formulated to give premium performance and food-grade purity.

With the strict standards the MX6 has satisfied, it can be used for a wide range of applications, from food manufacturing to automotive and firearms. Read on to learn how and when to use INOX MX6.

MX6 is made up entirely of ingredients that meet the requirements of section 178.3570 of the US FDA regulations. The strict standards it has met mean it has been cleared for use within registered establishments by the US Department of Agriculture and will not negatively affect meat, meat products, or any food products.

Use MX6 In Food Processing

This food-grade grease has a temperature range of -30 °C to extremely high temperatures with a dropping point of 300+. It is manufactured with a premium-grade anti-friction medium, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Therefore it is recommended for all bearings and general lubrication where temperatures go well below zero. It can also be applied in high-heat environments, with the INOX MX6’s no melting temperature range.

The MX6 is commonly used in many different types of food processing, including:

  • Machinery
  • Beverage Filling Lines
  • Food Conveyor Lines
  • Food Packaging Equipment
  • Freezers and Cold Rooms

MX6 lubricant goes well beyond food manufacturing. The unique capabilities of this extreme pressure grease mean it can be used for countless more applications, including, but not limited to:

  • Plumbing O-rings & seals
  • Diving gear O-rings & seals
  • Bitumen Transporting & Laying Machinery
  • All Farm Machinery
  • Foundries
  • Paint Baking Ovens
  • All other high-temperature applications

Apply MX6 To Chamber/Barrel Slides

As the MX6 can withstand extremely high temperatures, this ‘no melt’ grease can be applied to chamber/barrel slides on semi-automatics where the temperature generated is a lot higher than normal.

Apply MX6 To Car Brake & Clutch

INOX MX6 can be used on car disc brake calliper slides and flywheel spigot bearings.

Can I Mix MX6 With My Existing Grease?

Mixing INOX MX6 with another grease is not recommended. MX6 is unique in that it is a premium-grade clay-based extreme-pressure grease. When used with a non-clay-based grease, this can seriously affect its performance. Before you apply INOX MX6, it is highly recommended you remove any other non-clay-based greases by flushing or pushing out the old grease with INOX MX6 in a grease gun.
